How do we know we are in Wave 25?
Check your VAT-subject revenue for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. If it passed SAR 187,500 in any one of those years, Wave 25 covers you. ZATCA also notifies each business it brings into a wave.
Does Odoo support ZATCA Phase 2?
Yes. Odoo includes an official Saudi e-invoicing module that clears standard invoices and reports simplified invoices through Fatoora. The compliance capability comes from Odoo’s module. Our job is to configure it for your entity and test it with ZATCA.
We run an older version of Odoo. Do we need to upgrade?
It depends on the version. Odoo maintains its Saudi e-invoicing module for recent versions, so an older database may need an upgrade first. On the first call we check your version and tell you whether you can stay on it.
We are not on Odoo yet. Can you still help?
Yes. If your current system cannot connect to Fatoora, Odoo can replace it. We implement it with e-invoicing configured from the start, and the first call tells you whether the timeline fits 1 February 2027.
Our VAT revenue stayed under SAR 187,500. Are we exempt?
Wave 25 does not apply to you. ZATCA brings businesses into Phase 2 in waves, and says it notifies each one at least six months before its integration date.
Can our invoices be in Arabic and English?
Yes. Odoo prints invoices in Arabic, English or both on one document. We set up the layout as part of the e-invoicing work.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many entities, branches and POS terminals issue invoices. After the first call you get a dated plan, worked back from 1 February 2027.
